Job description
As a Junior Consultant Trainee at E-CUBE Lausanne, your tasks will be to :
- Conduct one or more work modules, supported by one or more members of the team: you will carry out the analyses and benchmarks essential to the brief, supported by members of the team, who will be responsible for developing the working method and guiding you through the expected work and additional analyses.
- Conducting interviews with sector experts: accompanied by a member of the team, you will take part in interviews with sector experts
- Participating in the presentation of results: you will be involved in the presentation of results to managers and clients, taking part in workshops and client feedback.
- Play an active role in internal operations, contributing to the life of the office and organised activities, as well as carrying out forward-looking internal tasks
You will be working on several projects and a variety of issues. For each assignment, you will be part of a team and will be directly supervised by a manager or partner.
For Master’s students, a specific subject is established, such as :
- Modelling the economic impact of the energy transition in Switzerland
- Analysis of data to adapt energy policy with regard to electric vehicle charging infrastructure
- Study of new business models to ensure participatory financing of photovoltaics
- European benchmark for the use of new flexibility technologies to ensure security of supply in a low-carbon world
Profile required
You are the right candidate for us if you :
- Have completed your studies in a Swiss or European university
- Have good analytical and data-gathering skills
- Enjoy intellectual challenges and working as part of a team
- Are interested in the energy, mobility or infrastructure sector and its decarbonisation challenges
- Would like to join a young, dynamic organisation working on key issues
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken), German (intermediate) and Pack Office
If you’re interested in data-focused missions, mastering languages such as Python, R or VBA is a plus.
Conduct of interviews
The recruitment process includes 2 interview sessions with the firm’s managers and partners. Each interview lasts 1 hour (a total of 2 hours).
Allow at least 3 weeks to complete the entire recruitment process.
